How to Apply
The Application
The Yale PA Program requires all applicants to use the Centralized Application Service for Physician Assistants (CASPA). Please visit the website at http://www.caspaonline.org/ or call 617-612-2080 for more information. We do not require a supplemental application.
Standardized Examinations
The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is required. All test scores must be sent directly to the Program using the institutional code of 3983. More information regarding the GRE can be found at www.ets.org.
For those whose first language is not English and who did not complete 4 years of undergraduate education in the United States, Canada or Great Britain, English language fluency examinations are required. Please see the International Students section for details.
Admissions tips
Three letters of recommendation submitted to CASPA should be written by:
- a professor or another individual familiar with one’s scholarship
- a physician or physician assistant
- another professional affiliate.

The application deadline is for the class entering in August of 2010 is September 1, 2009. All prerequisites must be completed prior to the application deadline.
